1906: The brand logo GEBE is the initials of Gotthilf Breining, the OEM supplier for Bosch, Lucas, Fiat and Ducellier (Valeo). Known worldwide in the aftermarket under the trademark "GEBE", which has been renowned for its quality since 1906. 1983: Willy J. Schoenen, the founder of IKA GmbH (Ltd.), takes over G. Breining as a supplier of carbon brushes and self-lubricating bushes. Willy J. Schoenen was managing director of Gotthilf Breining GmbH, which he joined back in 1968. Today: Today, IKA Germany is involved in the rebuilding of starters and alternators as well as special large and spare parts departments of automotive manufacturers in over 70 countries on all continents with a specialized and actively managed portfolio.
