DIAMETAL AG was founded in 1936 in Biel, Switzerland. Right from the beginning the company has specialised in the production and development of carbide tools, wear parts and watch components made from highly resistant materials, and diamond and CBN grinding tools. DIAMETAL FRANCE started business in Oltingue in 1973, and DIAMETAL ITALIA in Busto Arsizio in 1995. Since January 2009, DIAMETAL has had its own subsidiary in Nanjing (China). By using its own grinding tools to produce carbide cutting tools, wear parts and watch components, DIAMETAL creates unique synergies that are highly valued and appreciated by its international customers. Many years of research and development have created a wealth of technical know-how that we can effectively apply to find the optimum solutions to our customers' problems.
