Böhmer has been assisting customers from the crane building, dock-working, smelting, brick/ceramics, ship building and plant building industries since 1920. Our products range from small wheel sets with wheel diameters of 250 mm for transporters or turntables through to crane wheels of up to 1600 mm in diameter. We also offer rope pulleys in a lightweight welded construction and in a heavy cast smelted design with various different diameters. Our products are based on cast steel parts or forging blanks made by our (exclusively German) partners. Our in-house design and construction department comprising engineers, technicians and technical product designers subjects every product to testing on a test bench in order to bring it up to date with the latest technology and optimise its conditions of use.
