The Giraldo family have been outstanding farmers dedicated to the production of coffee from four generations until today. The sacrifice in union with the neighboring farmers of the region has been reflected in being qualified as the best coffee exporter in the world, for its taste, quality and variety. The coffee producing farms are located between the departments of Quindio and Valle del Cauca - Colombia S.A. whose elevation is above 1400 - 2000 meters up above sea level. The altitude is very important because it also determines the amount of light and oxygen. Coffee trees not only grow better at high altitudes, but the grains they produce are of better quality. All the mentioned factors contribute to a better growth of the plant and a slow maturation of the grains that allows a higher level of acidity, flavor and concentration, a grain of higher density and harder.
